About Us
Rainbow Childcare offers full day care facilities Mon-Fri from 7.30am until 6.00pm. We are able to offer collection up to 6.30pm, but only if prior arrangement has been made with management. An additional charge will be made for this service.
With over 20 years experience, we believe in the Biblical principle:
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverb 22.6)
The nursery team are highly qualified and our staff turnover is low. Consequently, we are able to offer mature and experienced key workers.
Our facilities are situated in two buildings and include:
- An inviting and homely baby suite offering 18 places for children 0 to 2 years
- An exceptionally well equipped toddler suite for children 2 to 3 years.
- A pre-school annex offering excellent classroom and play facilities for 20 children aged 3 to 5 years.
- We also offer a limited number of places for wrap around school care, with a drop off and collection service to designated schools.
Food
Food is prepared and cooked freshly each day. Our menu is varied, and special needs are catered for as required. The daily menu is displayed in the reception areas. Please note that parents of young babies are asked to provide formula feeds and first foods until nursery food becomes appropriate.
Newsletters
Our newsletters update parents on general nursery business, as well as activities and events planned throughout the year. These have included teddy bears picnics and sponsored events etc. Parents are welcome to visit the nursery to discuss their child’s progress; however, we are extremely busy and request that an appointment is made.
RCC International
The nursery supports various children’s charities primarily that to which it is affiliated, R.C.C. International, a Christian charity working to improve the lives of under privileged children both here and overseas. We particularly support their vision to build orphanages for abandoned babies and young children in Latin America.
