The Toddler Suite

Our toddler suite transferred into a newly converted building alongside our pre-school annex in March 2010, and consists of 1 large playroom with separate reception area and bathroom facilities.
The suite is modelled on our pre-school annex and offers a wide variety of continuous provision areas for children to choose from, as well as focused, staff led activities.
The children are monitored carefully to ensure all aspects of their development are promoted, and observations and assessments are used to dictate future planning to ensure the children’s progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Outdoor play
The toddlers have access to all areas within the outdoor play facilities, including a planting and growing area, mini-beasts area and vegetable patch. There is space to explore and run, climb or ride as well as areas to sit and rest and chill out or have a chat with friends.
We encourage parents/carers to provide clothing for all seasons to enable the children to go outdoors in all weathers.
